Common faults we repair

KEB COMBIVERT drives show errors as E. codes with a plain-English message. The ones below are the faults that come back to us most often.

  • E.OC – overcurrent (short ramp, output short circuit, ground fault)
  • E.OP – DC link overvoltage (deceleration, braking resistor)
  • E.UP – DC link undervoltage (supply, cabling)
  • E.OH – power module overheat; E.OHI – internal overheat
  • E.OL – I²t overload trip; E.OL2 – overload at standstill
  • E.dOH – motor PTC thermistor overheat
  • E.LSF – load-shunt relay fault (inrush circuit)
  • E.EnC – encoder cable break or feedback failure
  • E.PuCO – power circuit communication error (power board)
  • E.EEP – EEPROM parameter memory fault

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a failed KEB drive, servo drive or automation component can be expensive, particularly when the original equipment is obsolete or difficult to source. Repairing the existing equipment can be a faster, more cost-effective solution while avoiding unnecessary replacement, reprogramming and commissioning.

  • Repair is also the only option for obsolete and discontinued units, where a like-for-like replacement no longer exists. Where a repair is not economic, we say so and can supply a tested refurbished unit instead.
  • Component-level diagnostics and repair, never board swapping
  • Every repair covered by a 12-month warranty
